Believers' Circle: Faith at the Center, Impact Everywhere

Every movement begins with a conviction that will not stay quiet. For me, that conviction arrived as a calling: to gather believers into a fellowship where Jesus stands at the center, where caste has no place at the table, and where faith shapes not only how we pray but how we heal, build, govern, and create. That fellowship is Believers' Circle, or BC.

Why Believers' Circle?

Many of us owe a great deal to the Evangelical Union (EU) and the Evangelical Graduates Fellowship (EGF). These movements shaped generations of students, taught us to read Scripture seriously, and pushed the church toward meaningful social engagement. BC stands on their shoulders with gratitude.

Yet over time, a large share of that energy has been directed toward full-time ministry as the highest expression of a surrendered life. BC holds a different conviction. Full-time ministry is a sacred and necessary calling, and we expect perhaps one to three percent of our members to answer it. But God's kingdom also needs believers in operating theatres, engineering labs, district collectorates, boardrooms, and start-up garages. A Christian doctor who treats the poor with dignity is doing kingdom work. So is an engineer who refuses to cut corners, a civil servant who refuses a bribe, and an entrepreneur who pays fair wages.

There is a danger in this vision, and we name it openly: money. When believers pursue professional excellence, wealth often follows, and wealth has a way of quietly replacing God. BC exists to hold that tension honestly. We want members who prosper, but never members who are derailed by prosperity. Our measure of success is faithfulness, not bank balances.

Our Mission

BC's mission rests on a few simple but demanding commitments.

Jesus Is the Center We believe in Jesus Christ, and everything else orbits around Him. BC is not tied to any single church or denomination. Members may worship in any congregation, provided Jesus remains the center. Our unity comes from Him, not from shared liturgy or leadership structures.

Casteless Brotherhood In too many places, caste still quietly decides who sits together, who marries whom, and who leads. In BC, it decides nothing. We are one family, brothers and sisters in Christ, and we mean that literally. Our fellowship is casteless by design, and we will guard that commitment carefully.

Impact Across Society We want to raise more doctors, engineers, civil servants, business owners, and entrepreneurs who carry their faith into their work, because a nation is shaped by those who lead its hospitals, offices, and marketplaces. We will encourage students, mentor young professionals, and celebrate members who excel in their fields while serving others.

A People of Prayer BC will be built on its knees. Our Early Prayer Birds will begin the day with God before the world wakes, and our Late Night Prayer Warriors will intercede while others sleep. We envision a Prayer Tower, a Prayer Temple, and a Prayer Wall: dedicated places and practices where requests are lifted up continuously and answered prayers are remembered with thanksgiving.

Faith That Engages Science Many young believers quietly wonder whether they must choose between their faith and their education. We say no. BC will create space to explore complex scientific questions through the lens of Scripture, with honesty and humility, so that members can grow intellectually without losing their faith.

Standing Together in Hard Times Job losses, illness, failed businesses, grief: every member will face seasons of difficulty. BC commits to carrying one another's burdens in prayer, presence, and practical help.

How We Gather

Fellowship is not only built in meetings. It grows in shared experiences, laughter, and creativity. BC will host a range of events designed to bring believers together.

Faith and Fellowship Tourism Journeys that combine rest, worship, and relationship. We plan visits to the tea-covered hills of Valparai, the churches and backwaters of Kerala, and, further afield, Sri Lanka and the Philippines, where we can meet fellow believers, learn from their stories, and see how the gospel has taken root in different cultures.

Comedy Show Guided by biblical principles, proving that joy and holiness are not opposites. Clean, thoughtful humor can heal and unite in ways sermons sometimes cannot.

Biblical Singing Competition A celebration of worship through music, giving our gifted voices a stage to glorify God together.

Biblical Speech Competition Training young people to articulate their faith clearly and confidently, a skill every Christian professional needs.

Monthly Magazine Connecting our members across cities and countries, carrying testimonies, Bible reflections, career stories, prayer requests, and updates on what God is doing through the Circle.

An Invitation

Believers' Circle is not a replacement for your church, and it is not a competitor to the movements that came before it. It is a circle: open, connected, and centered on one Person.
